Administration

Carol J. Buckner
The owner of BEST, Carol J. Buckner, has more than thirty years of results-oriented experience in strategic market planning, job analysis, job development, contract negotiation, and client/public relations within social service and employment-related environments.  When employed with the Butler County (OH) Board of Developmental Disabilities between 1996 and 2007, Ms. Buckner developed the Board’s enclave program and Customized Employment program.  Since her retirement from the Board of DD, she has developed BEST to support individuals via Career Planning, job placement, customized employment, and self-employment (business) development, mostly in Butler County but also in other areas of southwest Ohio.  While employed (1989—1996) by the State of Ohio, Ms. Buckner worked with job seekers and businesses to match people’s skills and interests with needs of employers, resulting in successful job placements.  She is also the proud recipient of the Governor’s award (1996) for developing the most jobs for veterans statewide.  Ms. Buckner received the 2014 Women of Excellence Award for demonstrating a commitment to help raise the social and economic circumstances of people who have historically been left out of community life.

Revalee Beavers
Billing Specialist Revalee Beavers has been with BEST for 5 years, first as an Administrative Assistant and then as Office Manager.  Revalee has been a certified CESP for the last 3 years.  She has been part of the industry for 6 years bringing with her experience as a Job Coach and Developer. Revalee is responsible for OOD communications as well as being an Employment Specialist in the field.  Revalee takes joy in contributing to the success of our consumers and watching them become their very best.

 

Job Coaches & Developers

William Bench
Job Coach Bill Bench has been with BEST since August 2019.  He attended Northern Kentucky University and also studied Adult Auto Body at Live Oaks Vocational in Milford, Ohio.  He has worked as a machinist, woodworker, painter, mechanic, and home remodeler, and has also owned rental property in the past.  Bill is a yokefellow and head trustee at his church and teaches Sunday School for 1st and 3rd grade children.  At BEST, he enjoys working with his clients and helping them improve their job skills.

Kelly Broxterman
Job Coach Kelly Broxterman started with BEST in April 2022. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The College of Mount Saint Joseph (now known as Mount Saint Joseph University) in 1992. Her experience with OOD and Butler County DD comes from the parent perspective. She is enjoying helping her clients find their corner in the world where they can be successful. She and her husband Jim live in Liberty Township with their 2 daughters. She loves to draw and paint, to be crafty and to sew.

Gary Croley                                                                                                     Job Coach Gary Croley, started with BEST in August 2022. He has over 20 years experience working in an educational setting as an Intervention Specialist, Central Office employee, and Principal. Gary enjoys seeing individuals grow and have an opportunity to reach their full potential.  

Barbara Danielson                                                                                       Job Coach Barbara Danielson has been with BEST since July 2019.  She has worked as a Special Education and Early Childhood teacher for 15 years, working in both public and private settings.  She has a BS in Education from Fitchburg State University, in Massachusetts.  She and her husband Jim have raised 4 children in West Chester over the past 25 years.  Barbara was a stay-at-home mom while her children were young and volunteered many hours at her church and her children’s schools.  What she enjoys most about working at BEST is the opportunity to motivate and empower people to meet with success in the workplace. 

Jessica Davis
Job Developer Jessica Davis came to BEST with 20 years of experience partnering with individuals and their families for successful futures.  She was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio and has been a West Chester resident for 18 years.  Jessica received her bachelor’s degree from Wright State University in Rehabilitation. She’s had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings (United Rehabilitation Services, St. Joseph’s Treatment Center, Cornerstone Church, and Center Director of Brain Balance).  As a job developer, Jessica thoroughly enjoys working with our community to match employer’s needs with employee’s skill sets and drive for independence. 

Kristina Ferretti                                                                                                  Job Developer Kristina Ferretti started with BEST in August 2022. She was born and raised in Massachusetts but now calls Cincinnati, Ohio her home for the past 17 years. She has earned her Associates degree from Newbury Jr. College in Brookline, MA. Her experience comes from a parent’s perspective working with her own son with Autism and years of experience working with Butler County DD. Kristina enjoys working with the clients in the community and helping them reach their goals and success in employment. Kristina’s goal is to be that voice for not only the clients but for the families as well.

Karen Fishbough                                                                          Employment Specialist Karen Fishbough has been with BEST since February 2022. She is the mother of five wonderful young men who each have a wide range of disabilities. She had worked in Special Education for over 30 years. She attended Miami University in Oxford working towards her degree in Special Education with a minor in Family Studies. Karen enjoys witnessing individuals succeed and realize their true potential.

Diana M. Kuhn
Diana M. Kuhn has been employed at BEST for the past 11 years and is currently an Employment Specialist.  Diana has a degree in Business Associates from Northwest Technical College in Archbold, Ohio and has worked in the administrative capacity for the past 36 years.  Diana also speaks Spanish.  She has been involved in teaching Karate at Buckner Martial Arts for the past 22 years.  Diana was also a teacher at St. Max for 18 years in the Preschool Program and the Elementary and Junior High Program.  Diana enjoys helping, teaching and bringing value to people’s lives.

Susan Parsons                                                                                                    Job Coach Susan Parsons retired at the end of 2021 after 46.5 years with Liberty Mutual. She had many jobs over those years and was a Database architect for the last 20 years, even programming databases in the Amazon Cloud. Since retiring Susan work part-time for Niederman Family farms, showing people about farming. She grew up on a 200-acre dairy farm. Susan has worked part-time for BEST since August of 2022.  She enjoys playing golf and plays in 3 different leagues.

Clarice Sims
Job Coach/Developer Clarice Sims has been employed at BEST for 6 years.  Before her employment with BEST, she had worked in the field of helping individuals with disabilities.  Clarice has been in the Military for 10 ½ years, where she had done two tours overseas.  Clarice attended Cincinnati State for the Associate of Arts program. 

Michael Valdini
Job Coach Mike Valdini has worked with BEST for 5 years and has over 30 years of experience working with Lakota Local Schools as Transition Coordinator.  Mike has a Master’s Degree in Education and enjoys woodworking and creating new and fun projects.
